Ingredients
- 2 oz blanco tequila
- 1½ oz fresh grapefruit juice
- ½ oz fresh lime juice
- ½ oz agave syrup
- Tamarind-chili rim*
- Top with grapefruit sparkling water
- Grapefruit wedge garnish
- *Mix tamarind paste, chili powder, and salt; rim the glass and let dry
Method
- Prepare the tamarind-chili rim and let dry completely.
- Fill the rimmed glass with ice.
- Shake tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and agave with ice for 10 seconds.
- Strain into the prepared glass over ice.
- Top with grapefruit sparkling water (Topo Chico Grapefruit is ideal).
- Garnish with a grapefruit wedge.
