Ingredients
- 2 oz bourbon or rye whiskey
- ¾ oz fresh lemon juice
- ½ oz simple syrup
- 1 egg white (or aquafaba for vegan)
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Lemon peel + bitters drops garnish
Method
- Combine all ingredients in a shaker WITHOUT ice.
- Dry shake hard for 15 seconds to build foam.
- Add ice and shake again for another 12 seconds.
- Double-strain into a chilled coupe.
- Drop 3 drops of Angostura on the foam and drag a toothpick through.
